Trifle with bananas and coffee



(~ 4 servings)

● 250ml milk,
● 1-2 tablespoons vanilla sugar,
● 2 tsp starch (preferably corn, cream is obtained gentler),
● 3 egg yolks,
● 100-150ml cream 33%,
● 2 bananas,
● 125g biscuit cookie, cut into cubes,
● 100ml of cold coffee,
● 2 tablespoons almond liqueur.


1. 200ml milk brought to the boil. The remaining milk is mixed with starch, vanilla sugar and egg yolks. Pour the mixture into the hot milk and cook over low heat stirring constantly until the mixture thickens. Ready cream should not be too thick, be careful! The cream is cool.
2. Whip cream into foam.
3. Bananas are cut into thin slices.
4. Coffee mix with almond liqueur and soak them biscuits.
5. Put all the layers in the following order: first the cake + coffee with amaretto, then vanilla cream, then bananas and top with whipped cream. Repeat layers.
6. Ready to decorate the dessert (optional) almond petals and grains of coffee.
