Tender Bagels

Great bagels recipe for tea or coffee. Very soft, fragrant and very very delicious.


• 3 yolks,
• 3 tbsp. of sour cream,
• 50 grams or 0,11(lb) of butter,
• 3-4 tbsp. of sugar,
• 75 ml. or 5 tbsp. warm milk,
• 1 teaspoonful of dry yeast,
• 1 package of vanillin,
• Pinch of salt,
• 2.5-3 cups of flour,
• Handful of raisins — optional.


1. All products must be at room temperature.
2. In the milk dissolve the yeast, put into the side.
3. In the butter add 1 yolk and 1 tbsp. sugar, grind until the mass becomes homogeneous, add all yolks and sugar, then add salt, sour cream and vanilla, stir again well.
4. Pour milk with yeast, pour the sifted flour in portions (add raisins if using), knead elastic dough, well knead it for a few minutes.
5. Transfer to a bowl greased with vegetable oil, put into warm for 1 hour.
6. Make 10 bagels, lay on a baking sheet, wait another 15 minutes.
7. Preheat the oven to 180-200°C or 356-392°F degrees.
8. Bagels grease with yolk and sprinkle with sugar.
9. Bake until golden brown.
