Smoked Salmon Sandwich Cake with Soft Cheese

Beautiful and incredibly delicious festive sandwich cake with crunchy cucumbers and smoked salmon, soaked and decorated with whipped cream cheese.


• Whole Grain Bread — 4 slices,
• Soft cream cheese — 340 grams or 7 oz.,
• Smoked salmon — 200 grams or 0,44 pounds,
• Cucumber — 2 pcs.,
• Red onion chopped — 1 tbsp.,
• Dill — 3 tbsp.,
• Canned capers — 1 tbsp.,
• Lemon juice — 1 tbsp.,
• Salt — a pinch,
• Freshly ground pepper to taste.


1. Divide the cream cheese into two parts. Put half of the cheese in a bowl, sprinkle with lemon juice, add finely chopped onion and dill, a pinch of salt, capers and freshly ground pepper.
2. Mix everything well.
3. Grease a slice of bread with cream cheese.
4. Top with thinly sliced salmon. Then put thin cucumber circles.
5. Do the same with the other layers, except for the top slice of bread.
6. Brush nicely on all sides with the softened cream cheese that remain.
7. Decorate with capers, dill, the remaining slices of salmon and cucumbers.
