Salad with figs

Salad with figs

2 servings

● 2 handfuls of lettuce leaves
● 2 large figs
● A few slices of brisket or bacon

For marinated cheese:

● 100g of cheese
● 3 tbsp olive oil
● 1/2 tsp paprika
● 1/2 tsp dried oregano
● 1 clove garlic

One of the main advantages of this salad — ingredients for it can be prepared in advance, so ready to assemble the salad you can in just a minute. In any case, it is to start with marinated feta cheese. Cut is not very hard cheese cubes, combine the olive oil, chopped garlic, paprika (I liked the sweet-but if you want, you can take a little sharp or add chili powder) and oregano, whisk with a fork and pour marinade to receive cheese. Gently mix the cheese so that each cube covered with the marinade and set aside for at least 10 minutes, although if you give it a couple of hours, marinated cheese will taste even better.
Thin slices of brisket or any bacon (I did a salad with homemade pancetta) cut into strips and fry in a dry pan or with a little butter, stirring occasionally. When the brisket heated with most of the fat, drain it, and to pass on the very belly of paper towel and pat dry.
Arrange on a large plate of lettuce leaves, top with figs, sliced quarters. Add cheese cubes, sprinkle with fried bacon, breaking a little with her hands to pieces were very small, and sprinkle on top of the marinade from the cheese. If you wish, you can season with black pepper and the salad is ready!
Bon Appetit!
