Rose Petal Jam

Jam made from roses, prepared solely from the red or pink petals of this beautiful flower, is a truly magical delicacy with a delicate aroma, delicate taste.


● Boiling water 600 ml.,
● Fresh rose petals 450g.,
● Sugar 450g.,
● Lime juice 2 pcs.


Fill a large saucepan with boiling water. Add half of the rose petals, cover and leave for two hours.

After 2 hours, pour the liquid through a sieve into a clean pan. Throw out the petals.

Add sugar to the pink water and stir over low heat until it is dissolved. Add the lime juice and the remaining petals, putting aside only a handful for later.

Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook until it reaches the desired condition. To check if the jam is ready, pour a little jam on a cold saucer. Push the jam with your finger. If the crust on the surface wrinkles, it is ready. If not, continue to cook.

Add the remaining petals and simmer for another three minutes. Spread on sterilized jars and seal. Pink petals should rise to the surface, and from the bottom should be a transparent jelly.
