Potatoes in ham


This recipe came up with our children when they once particularly good had fried french fries.
And the main part did not take long — but it took almost two days of experiments to choose the recipe for the sauce!


● 10 large potatoes for frying
● 500g thinly sliced raw-dried ham
● Oil for frying

For the sauce

● 150-200g of natural yoghurt
● 2 pickled cucumber
● 1 tbsp. Caper
● 1 tbsp. mayonnaise


1. For the sauce cucumber peel and finely chop. Chop the capers. Mix all ingredients and place in refrigerator for 20 minutes.

2. Potatoes cut into large cubes. Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 160-180 ° C and fry the potatoes in batches until golden, 7-10 minutes. each serving. Cooked potatoes lay on paper towels and keep in a warm place.

3. When done, wrap the potatoes in slices of ham (4-5 pieces together) and place on a warm dish. Serve immediately with the sauce.
