Citrus-almond pie polenta recipe for the famous chef Jamie Oliver.
The cake is very tasty, juicy and flavorful.


● Soft butter 225g.
● 225g sugar + 2 tablespoons,

● Ground almonds 125g.
● Corn meal for polenta 125g.
● Baking powder 1 tsp.
● Juice of 2.5 lemons,
● Zest of two lemons,
● Juice of one orange,
● Zest of two oranges (half of the grate, half cut into thin strips),
● Caster sugar 75g.


1. Preheat oven to 170 ° C.
2. Grease with butter the parchment and lay a split mold with a diameter of 23 cm.
3. Beat the butter with 225 grams of sugar in a lush light cream, then add the eggs one at a time, stirring well each time.
4. Add the ground almonds, polenta, baking powder, zest and juice of 2 lemons, juice and grated orange zest.
5. Put the resulting dough into a mold and bake for 50-60 minutes, until the cake is golden and not in the middle, propechetsya (readiness check with a toothpick).
6. Ready cake to cool in the form.
7. Add the remaining sugar in a saucepan, pour 2 tablespoons water and bring to boil. Remove from heat and add the strips of orange zest. Cool.
