New Year dishes: Salmon steak with mustard sauce.


If you do not have access to a full grill, such a dish can be successfully prepared in a pan grill.



For the steaks:

● White wine vinegar — 2 tbsp.,
● Sugar — 2 tablespoons,
● chopped dill — 1 tablespoon,
● Salt — 3/4 tsp.,
● Ground pepper — 1/8 tsp.,
● steaks of salmon in weight 170g. and a thickness of 2.5cm. — 4 pcs.

For the sauce:

● Mayonnaise — 3 tablespoons,
● Dijon mustard — 3 tablespoons,
● Chopped dill — 3 tbsp.,
● Sugar — 1 tablespoon,
● White wine vinegar — 4 tsp.,
● Ground pepper — 1/4 tsp.


1. In a large plastic bag with a zip to mix the first five ingredients. Add salmon, closed and put in the fridge for an hour, turning occasionally.

2. In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients of sauce; cover and put in the refrigerator.

3. To take out fish from marinade. Cook on the grill over medium heat for 6-7 minutes on each side, until the fish is begins to pierce easily with a fork.

4. Serve the salmon with mustard dill sauce.
