Mandarin Cake "New Year's Tale"

Cake with a touch of rum and mandarin — what could be better this winter? We are sure that everyone who tries it will like it.


● Flour — 1 cup.,
● Butter — 100g.,
● Sugar — 3/4 cup.,
● Baking soda — 1 tsp.,
● Eggs chicken — 3 pcs.,
● Salt — 1/3 tsp.,
● Tangerines 2 pcs.,
● Rum (can be replaced with food flavor) — 1 tsp.


1. Mix in a bowl of sifted flour and baking soda.

2. Separate the proteins from the yolks. Whip the whites with sugar until the foam is thick.

3. In another bowl, beat the yolks, add rum, or flavor.

4. Melt the butter and wait until cool.

5. Add the beaten yolks to the cooled butter.

6. Combine whipped whites and yolks.

7. Gradually, gently add flour to this mixture. All thoroughly mix until smooth consistency.

8. Add the mandarin slices to the resulting dough.

9. Lubricate the form with oil and sprinkle with flour, pour the dough and send it to a preheated oven to 180 degrees. Cake to bake until ready (check with a toothpick), about 25-30 minutes.

10. Decorate the cake at will.
