Mackerel Baked in the Oven

Having tried once, now I constantly do this fish that way! How wonderful it is to cook mackerel baked in the oven to surprise the guests and to please their loved ones.


• Freshly frozen mackerel — 1 kg. (three fish),
• Onions — the more, the better! (about five good bulbs),
• Mayonnaise,
• Ketchup,
• Spices.


1. Peel the fish, cut into slices.

2. Peel the onions, cut into half rings.

3. Place the fish in a container, add 4-5 tablespoons of mayonnaise and 4-5 tablespoons of ketchup, spices to taste, mix.

4. Then put the baking paper on the baking sheet, grease it with a little butter, lay out the fish, and lay the onions in half-rings between the fish pieces.

5. All this is sent to the oven, the temperature is 180 degrees. It takes about an hour.

6. You can orientate on the onion, as soon as the onion is soft and juicy — the dish is ready!
