Lenten potato pizza

Nourishing baking will help to cope with temptation during the Great Lent.


● Flour — 2.5 cups,
● Yeast dry — 2 tsp.,
● Salt — 1 tsp.,
● Tomato sauce — 5 tbsp.,
● Potatoes — 4 pcs.,
● Italian herbs — to taste,
● Greens — to taste.


Boil potatoes in their skins, cool, peel and cut into thin slices.

Knead the dough. To do this in a large bowl pour warm water, add salt and dry yeast, stir well. Pour two cups of flour, stir. Gradually introduce the remaining flour and knead the dough. If the dough sticks to your hands, add more flour. Add olive oil dough and knead well again. Cover the dough with food film and put in a warm place for an hour.

Preheat oven to 200 degrees. The dough thinly roll out on a work surface floured.

Coat the dough layer tomato sauce, top with potato slices. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with dried Italian herbs. Bake the pizza for 15-20 minutes at 200 degrees.
