Korean beet salad


Many people like the carrot Korean style. A similar dish can be prepared from beets — with garlic and spicery.


● 1 kg of beet,
● Vegetable oil 100 ml.,
● 4 cloves garlic,
● 4 tablespoons vinegar,
● 2 tablespoons sugar,
● 1/2 tsp salt,
● 1/2 tsp ground coriander,
● 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper,
● Red pepper 1/2 tsp.


1. Beets, peeled, grate on the Korean grater (or shred long, thin strips).

2. Garlic is passed through the press and mix with beets.

3. Sunflower oil to heat, a little boiling, remove from heat, add salt, sugar, vinegar and spices, stir.

4. Pour in the beets, stir again, close the container with a lid or beet tighten with cling film and let stand in refrigerator day.
