How to cook the sauce tzatziki


It is a cold-sauce appetizer of yogurt, cucumber and garlic, a popular Greek dishes.


● 350ml thick natural yoghurt or sour cream
● 2 cucumbers
● 3-5 cloves of garlic
● 1 tablespoon lemon juice
● 2 tbsp. olive oil
● 1 teaspoon coarse salt
● 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
● 1 tablespoon chopped parsley or dill


Cucumber peel, grate or finely chop. Season with salt, squeeze out the liquid.

Mix the cucumber, finely chopped garlic, lemon juice and yogurt. Add chopped herbs and mix thoroughly. Pour the olive oil and stir again. Serve chilled sauce tzatziki.
