How to cook the falafel with hummus

Falafel with hummus — a true vegetarian fast food, it is very tasty and nutritious.


● Nut — 1 kg.,
● Lime — 4 pcs. (Only juice),
● Sesame seeds — 50g.,
● Cilantro — 100g.,
● Sesame oil — 150 ml.,
● Olive Oil — 150 ml.,
● Spices: coriander, cumin (cumin), paprika, turmeric,
● Salt,
● Flour (pea or wheat) — 50g.,
● Vegetable oil for frying,
● Cucumbers — 200g.,
● Tomatoes — 200g.,
● Bell peppers — 2 pcs.,
● Pita — 10 pcs.


All components, except the sesame oil and sesame seeds, divide in half. Half will go to the falafel, half — in hummus. If raw chickpeas, it is necessary to soak 12 hours in cold water, then drain the water and boil for an hour, to make it soft.


In a bowl, mix half the chickpeas, juice of 2 limes, sesame seeds (all), sesame oil (50 ml), half the cilantro and half of all spices. Season with salt and grind blender. If the mixture is too thick, add water. Make balls and crumble them in flour. Fry on a preheated pan with oil for 1-2 minutes.


Mix half chickpea juice 2 limes, sesame oil (100 ml), olive oil (100 ml), and half of all spices. Add salt, grind blender.

Cut the vegetables, cut the pita in half. Smear hummus in each half, add the pieces of fruit and a few falafel balls. Garnish with coriander leaves.
