Honey cake is one of the most popular recipes. The secret is of course, in the presence of honey…


For the cake:

● 2 eggs,
● 100g. of softened butter,
● 150g. of sugar,
● 2 tbsp. honey,
● 1 tsp. with a slide of baking powder,
● 420g. of flour (approximately).

For cream:

● 2 cups of sour cream,
● 1 cup of sugar,
● 2 tsp. vanilla sugar.


Mix the butter with sugar and honey.
Do not stop whipping, one by one we drive eggs.
Add the flour mixed with baking powder and knead the soft dough.
Divide the dough into 6 equal parts. We will select a plate that will serve us as a template when the edges of the baked cakes are chopped off. Each part is rolled into a layer, the size of which will be slightly larger than the diameter of this plate itself.
Bake cakes in a preheated oven to 200 degrees until golden brown (about 5-6 minutes per cake). Cut off on a plate and add it in a pile.
Whisk the sour cream with sugar until the latter is dissolved.
Generously grease each cake with cream.
Cut the scraps into a crumb and sprinkle it with cake.
Give a good soak
