Hawaiian chicken sandwich.

Recipe for juicy sandwich with chicken breast, fried with onions, pineapple and barbecue sauce. Slices of pineapple in the barbecue sauce gives it a delicious sweet taste.

● Chicken breasts — 1.2 Kg.,
● Onion — 1 Pcs.,
● Pineapple pieces with juice — 600g.,
● Barbecue sauce — 540-600g.,
● Buns for sandwiches — 12 Pcs.

1. If you are using frozen chicken, make sure it is completely thawed. Put the chicken in a clay pot. Sprinkle with chopped onion, then pineapple slices.

2. Pour barbecue sauce on top of chicken. If you want to make barbecue sauce sweeter, add a half cup of pineapple juice, depending on how sweet you want to make your sauce. It’s not obligatory.

3. Place the crock in slow cooker and simmer for 8-10 hours on low heat (for 4-6 hours on high heat).

4. For an hour or two to complete the cooking, carefully remove the chicken from the clay pot and separate the meat from the bones with the help of two forks. Put back in the chicken pot and mix well until homogenous. Fry the chicken the remaining time that it has absorbed most of the sauce. Put the cooked chicken on buns and serve with a salad of cabbage, if desired.

Bon Appetit!!!
