Fried new potatoes in a frying pan

To cook a delicious side dish, cooked until half-prepared, fresh potatoes should be fried in oil until golden brown.

Always put the new potatoes not in the cold, but in the already boiling water.


● Small fresh potatoes — 1 kg.,
● Vegetable oil — 2 tbsp.,
● Butter — 1 tbsp.,
● Salt, ground pepper to taste,
● Dry garlic to taste,
● Parsley or dill greens to taste.


1. Fine small fresh potatoes to wash well with a brush. Boil in salted water until half cooked, drain the liquid.

2. Heat butter and vegetable oil in a frying pan, add potatoes. Fry from all sides to a ruddy crust.

3. Reduce the heat, add chopped greens, dry garlic, salt and ground pepper. Stir and cook a few more minutes. Serve the young potatoes as a side dish.
