Dumplings with Potatoes and Fried Onions.

Dumplings with Potatoes and Fried Onions

Dough for dumplings is usually prepared from wheat flour, water or milk, eggs and salt. The liquid should be taken only cold — so the dough will be better molded.

For the dough:

● Milk 0.5 cups,
● Egg 1 piece,
● Salt on the tip of the knife,
● Soda at the tip of the knife,
● Flour.

For the filling:

● Potatoes 500g.,
● Onion 2 pcs.,
● Vegetable oil to taste,
● Salt to taste.

1. Mix the egg, milk, soda and salt. Pour in so much flour, so you can knead an elastic soft dough. Cover the dough with a towel and leave for half an hour.

2. Boil the peeled and chopped potatoes until cooked. Mash in mashed potatoes. Peel onion, cut into cubes and fry in vegetable oil. Add half of the fried onions to the potatoes.

3. Roll out the dough on the flour-padded surface and cut out the circles. Put the filling in the center and patch the edges.

4. Boil the dumplings in boiling salted water until cooked. Serve with the remaining fried onions and sour cream.

Bon Appetit!!!
