Cottage Cheese Pie

Tender cottage cheese dessert. Airiness and lightness are the main advantages of this pie.


• 2 cups of flour,
• 1.5 cups of sugar,
• 4 tbsp. of sour cream,
• 4 eggs,
• 400 grams or 0,88(lb) pounds of cottage cheese,
• 100 grams or 0,22(lb) pounds of butter,
• 1 tsp. of baking soda,
• A pinch of salt,
• Optional: nuts, raisins, candied fruit, etc.


1. Beat eggs with sugar. The mass should brightening and sugar completely dissolve.
2. Add sour cream, cottage cheese and melted butter, baking soda, salt to the eggs.
3. Mix everything well, and then whisk the mass with an immersion blender until smooth.
4. Add sifted flour and mix well again.
5. Pour the dough into a mold with parchment paper, send to the oven preheated to 180ºC or 356ºF degrees, bake for about 30 minutes.
6. After baking, let the pie cool down first in the mold, then on the towel.
7. Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
