Cod in tomato sauce with onions.


Fish stewed in tomato sauce with onions and thyme, a very tasty and fragrant.


● 1 tablespoon olive oil,
● Onions, sliced 1 pc.,
● Canned chopped tomatoes 400g.,
● Light brown sugar 1 tablespoon,
● Thyme, leaves only a few sprigs,
● 1 tablespoon soy sauce,
● Cod fillets, pollock or hake 4 pcs.


1. Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the onion and fry for 5-8 minutes.

2. Add tomato, sugar, soy sauce and thyme, bring to the boil. Simmer for 5 minutes, then add the cod in sauce.

3. Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes, until the fish begins to be easily punctured with a fork. Serve with fried or boiled potatoes.
