Cod Fish Cutlets

These delicious fish cutlets can be cooked either in a pan or on a grill. In mincemeat it is desirable to add crumbs from dried bread.


● Fillets of cod or other white fish — 600 grams,
● Chopped parsley — 1/4 cup,
● Pine nuts — 1/4 cup,
● Crushed onion — 1/2 pcs.,
● Whole grain bread crumbs — 3/4 cup,
● Grated parmesan — 1/2 cup,
● Egg — 1 piece,
● Capers, chopped — 2 tsp.,
● Olive oil to taste,
● Salt, ground pepper to taste.


1. Put the fish in the food processor and chop it in the Pulse mode. Add parsley and pine nuts, whisk.

2. Transfer the fish mixture to a large bowl. Add onions, bread crumbs, Parmesan, egg and capers. Season with salt and pepper, stir.

3. Using wet hands to form 12 cutlets, oil them on both sides. Cook over medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side.

4. Serve fish patties with yoghurt sauce and lemon slices.
