Chicken Fricassee

Fricasse is called white meat, cooked in white sauce. We will prepare a delicious fricassee of chicken in sour cream sauce. Fricassee is very gentle and soft. Meat can be marinated in sour cream-garlic sauce for the night.


● Chicken fillet (or turkey) 500 grams or 1,10(lb),
● Onions 1-2 pcs.,
● Sweet pepper 1-2 pcs.,
● Garlic 3-5 pcs.,
● Sour cream (can be mixed with buttermilk) 250 grams or 0,55(lb),
● Salt to taste,
● Spices to taste.


1. Wash meat and cut into strips.
2. Peel onion and cut into half rings.
3. Peel the seeds of sweet peppers and stems and cut into strips.
4. Peel the garlic and finely chop it.
5. Fry the onions and peppers in a pan for a few minutes.
6. Add chopped garlic and sour cream to the chicken. Mix.
7. Transfer chicken fillet with sour cream to a pan to onions and peppers.
8. Stir and bring to a boil.
9. Fricasse bring to a boil, cover and simmer until done. From time to time, stir. Chicken meat should be soft.
