Cake «Potatoes» in Russian.


Favorite cake, the taste of which is familiar to all from childhood, it is possible to cook at home. We offer you classic recipe.


● Flour 75g.,
● Chicken eggs 3 pc.
● Sugar 90g.,
● Starch 15g.,
● Dairy butter 125g.,
● Powdered sugar 65g.,
● Condensed milk 50g.,
● Cognac 1-2 tbsp.,
● Cocoa powder as needed.


1. Separate the whites from the yolks. Beat the egg yolks with 2/3 of the sugar until white. Add flour and starch. Mix.

2. Protein whisk in a solid foam, add the remaining sugar and whisk still time.

3. Gently combine with proteins previously whipped mass and mix prepared.

4. Put the dough in a baking dish and bake in a preheated 200C oven for 13-15 minutes.

5. Biscuit cool and grind in a blender into crumbs.

6. Beat butter with sugar, then add condensed milk, continuing to whisk.

7. Connect crushed biscuit in a bowl with cream and brandy. Leave a little cream for decoration. Mix thoroughly to homogeneous mass and hands sculpt cakes.

8. Roll under «potatoes» in the cocoa powder on top and decorate with the remaining cream.
