Buttermilk Apple Pie

Incredibly tasty, delicate and appetizing apple pie, cooked on buttermilk, will pleasantly surprise you with its unearthly taste.


• Buttermilk — 1 cup,
• Sugar — 1 cup,
• Flour — 2 cup,
• Egg — 2 pcs.,
• Refined oil — 50 milligrams,
• Baking powder — 1 tsp.,
• Apples — 2-3 pcs.


1. Wash the eggs, sift the flour.

2. Connect the eggs with sugar, Whisk the mass with a mixer up to a threefold increase in its volume.

3. Add buttermilk and vegetable oil. Stir.

4. Add flour and baking powder. Mix the dough with a mixer at low speed so that there are no lumps.

5. Lubricate the baking dish with vegetable oil or cover with parchment. Pour the dough, level with a spatula. Peel apples from skin and core, cut into slices and shove them into dough. Send the pie to a hot oven for 40 minutes, the temperature is 170-180ºC.

6. Apple pie is ready! Cool it in the baking dish, then remove and cut into slices. When serving, you can sprinkle with powdered sugar.
