BLT salad with corn

BLT salad is a classic of American cuisine. Its obligatory ingredients are bacon, lettuce and tomatoes.


For refueling:

● Olive oil 1/4 cup,
● Apple cider vinegar 1/4 cup,
● Peel of one lime,
● 2 tablespoons lime juice,
● Sugar 2 tsp. Or to taste.

For salad:

● Bacon, diced 4 strips,
● Chopped lettuce 4 cups,
● Avocado, peeled and cut into cubes 1 pc.,
● Cherry tomatoes, cut in half 1 cup,
● Maize 1/2 cup,
● Crumbled goat cheese 1/4 cup.


1. Prepare the vinaigrette sauce: stir in a bowl of olive oil, apple cider vinegar, sugar, zest and lime juice. Set aside.

2. Heat the large frying pan over medium heat. Add the bacon and cook until crisp, about 6-8 minutes. Transfer to paper towels to absorb excess fat.

3. In a large bowl, combine greens, avocados, tomatoes, corn, goat cheese and bacon. Pour the dressing and immediately serve.
