Black Prince Cake

Black prince cake — this is one of those cakes that are easy to make, without any extra effort and cost.


• 1.5 cup of buttermilk,
• 1.5 cups flour,
• 1 cup of sugar,
• 1.5 tbsp cocoa,
• 2-3 eggs,
• 1.5 tsp baking soda slaked in vinegar or lemon juice.


• 1 can of boiled thick condensed milk,
• 400 grams or 0,88(lb) sour cream.

To decorate:

• Walnuts,
• Waffles,
• Grated chocolate.


1. Beat eggs with sugar, add cocoa, melted butter, baking soda, sifted flour. We get a beautiful bubble dough.
2. Grease the baking pan with butter, cover baking paper, pour out the dough.
3. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes at a temperature of 180°C (356ºF) degrees, and another 25 minutes at 170°C (338ºF).
4. Cut the cooled cake along into three parts, it is better to do it with a thread.
5. For the cream, you just need to mix the ingredients thoroughly, you can whip a little, but not for a long time, otherwise the cream will become liquid. We do not need it.
6. Cake layers is best soak in any sweet syrup, for example, honey with water or just sugar mixed with water. You will take 100 grams or 0,22(lb) of syrup, pour it from the spoon on the cake. Let it soak for 5-10 minutes.
7. Smear the cakes with cream, grease the sides of the cake with a silicone spatula and sprinkle with chopped nuts, grated chocolate, waffles, etc.
