Kazakh Baursaks (Fried Dough)

Kazakhstan traditional food, this is the kazakh national product made of dough. Very delicious, nourishing, lush baursaks — not a single festive table among Kazakhs can not do without them.

Ingredients:

● Milk — 500 ml. or 0.01764 Ounces (oz) or 0.0011 Pounds (lb)
● Sour cream — 2 tbsp.
● Butter — 30g. or 1.05822 Ounces (oz) or 0.06614 Pounds (lb)
● Sunflower oil — 200 ml. or 0.00705 Ounces (oz) or 0.00044 Pounds (lb)
● Sugar — 2 tbsp.
● Salt — 1 tsp.
● Yeast — 10g. or 0.35274 Ounces (oz) or 0.02205 Pounds (lb)
● Flour — 1 kg. or 35.27396 Ounces (oz) or 2.20462 Pounds (lb)

Directions:

1. Pour 1/3 of water into the cup, add a little sugar, add the yeast, cover with a saucer. Yeast should rise with a hat.

2. Knead the dough by adding all the ingredients and yeast.

3. Cover the dough with a towel, crumple when it rises, and so 3 times. The dough should be so for 2 hours.

4. Roll the layer in 1 — 1, 5 cm, cut into squares, put on a towel. So they should be 20 minutes — no more, no less.

5. Fry in boiling vegetable oil.
